Reporting to: Scott Capdevielle CTO/Founder

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately

Position Description:

This position will be a key member of the software development team of Andromedia. This person will be responsible for the product development and support function. The person will be responsible for all the functions associated with developing and delivering Andromedia's product into the marketplace. This person will manage the development team which currently consists of 10 engineers. This person will also be responsible for building the support team and infrastructure needed to support the products. All engineering support functions such as testing, QA and documentation will report to this individual.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage the product development and delivery process.
• Manage the product support function

Skills Required:

• Strong technical leadership/management skills
• Technical knowledge of Object programming (C++, Object DBs)
• Technical knowledge of the Web
• Networking/Communications skills a plus

Professional Experience Required:

• At least 4 years of software engineering management
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Experience developing or managing embedded software products
• Track record of delivering complex software products on schedule with high quality
• Start-up experience a plus

Education:

• Technical undergraduate degree
